Research in this session will examine the identity and image processes that individuals, dyads, and collectives engage in to create and sustain multiple positive personal, role, relational and collective identities, and the contextual variables that constrain or enhance these processes. In addition, we will explore the mechanisms underlying the construction and maintenance of both positive identities and positive selves. Finally, we will discuss the impact of positive self-construction processes on individual, relational and organizational flourishing.
